Get those camera phones ready!

Check out this clip which beautifully illustrates the way phone-tography has permeated our culture.  These ever-present little mobile devices are used to document life, every tiny bit of it, as it happens.  So powerful is the urge to record every ‘moment’ their life that some of my students have suggested that if the don’t capture them photographically, they feel like they never even happened.  And, sharing these images adds to their ability to experience them, somehow making these experiences more ‘real’.  Now there is an interesting discussion for your class!
