We've worked with...
I really liked the collage of coloured tissue paper, I really thought it was a creative experience. I don’t really do this type of art commonly, so it’s good to do it once and a while. Honestley, I don’t think I contributed much to the class, I was a bit caught up in the art and not really helping. I really enjoyed the texture drawing we did last art class. I could tell the subject we were doing texture and I am really happy were doing that subject. I would be very happy if we would be doing clay pottery in art, thats subject I always wanted to do!
What I enjoyed about my lesson today is when we were using the tissue paper to make a tree trunk. We all kept moving around in jobs so 1 staring the glueing and 1 did the tissue and we kept switching. I liked it when we did then thing outside with the crayons, that was fun. Using the clay, IM SOOO EXCITED!!
We are definitely going to be using clay – I’m so glad you’re excited about it!
I’m also glad you liked getting your hands dirty today – the room sure was messy, noisy and full of movement, which tells me you must have had a good time! The surfaces are ready to go next lesson and will give us some great texture for our tree. Great job so far Year 7 🙂
I really enjoy that we use the tissue paper to make tree bar. I thought that is a fun and good activity for our team work. I contribute on help finishing the tree bar and clean the tables. I so far most enjoy is to used the tissue paper, it was very fun.
I enjoyed making the tree trunk texture out of the tissue paper, i look forward to using clay!
During today’s lesson I really enjoyed creating the tree trunk’s texture. We did this by placing the creased tissue paper on a piece of white A2 paper and then putting glue on top and underneath the tissue paper. Our group worked really well together, as we all took turns. For example, two people would be using the paint brush to glue the tissue paper and the other two people would be placing the tissue paper on the glue. We all kept taking turns to glue and rip the tissue paper, so we could all have a go at everything. I really enjoyed creating the tree trunk with the tissue paper. I am really looking forward to using the clay in Visual Arts this term.
I looking forewords to make things with clay.
What I enjoyed most of this Tuesday’s lesson was making the colours of the bird that were made out of paper. It was a really creative and fun way of making the bird’s feathers with tissue papers because art that causes a lot of mess are one of the things that I like to do! I think that I have a lack of teamwork because I am a bit shy when it comes to people that I am not use to around me, which shows that I do not really communicate with other people a lot. I think that I didn’t do a god enough job because I think that I didn’t pick up enough tissues. I enjoyed this Tuesday’s lesson the most because of using the tissue papers. I am most looking forward to drawing animation and most of all, making pottery!
I like doing the tree trunks the most last lesson. I helped my group put the glue on the tissue paper and and helped rip the tissue paper into pieces and stick them on. I have enjoyed starting on our birds and choosing our colours to put in the bird. I am looking forward to doing painting.
I enjoyed putting different colours of tissue paper on the the sheet and working in a group. I worked we’ll in the group by planning what colours we were putting on the sheet and how we were going to set out the paper. I have enjoyed working with textures and sketching. Also going outside and choosing objects to shade over on paper. I am looking forward to working with clay. I would really love make make animals out of clay
